The SAWF Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women enrolled or who plan to enroll in a STEM related field, such as science, technology, engineering, or math. Since 2011, SAWF has provided over $401,000 in scholarship awards of increments ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Scholarships are awarded to women throughout the southern states with preference for those who are attending a school in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Texas or West Virginia.
